Are you going to charge an arm and a leg?
We constantly monitor and compare pricing in the areas we service to ensure we are always competitive in the market, we take on board efficiencies whenever we can to save our clients money and we have a small dedicated team who work hard to keep things simple.
How do I know you will work hard for us?
We wouldn’t be here if we weren’t willing to work harder than others to ensure harmonious relationships between property and tenants can be created and nurtured.
What if I am not satisfied?
Rentall are willing to guarantee you will be. Try our services for 3 months and if you are not 100% satisfied, we’ll give you the next month free of charge.
Who do I talk to when I need answers?
You contact your assigned property manager by phone, email, text or app and they will be your knight in shining armour. If they are out slaying dragons, you will be immediately connected to another knight using our skillfully constructed technology.
How will I be told about my property’s income and expenses?
We provide monthly itemised statements to balance to your hearts content, and an annual summary for tax and accounting purposes.
What about Healthy Homes compliance?
Rentall is dedicated to improving the quality of New Zealand’s residential rental stock as quickly as we can, to enable tenants to live healthy lives, and for owners to have healthy properties that require less maintenance and repair over time. We know the compliance requirements, and offer guidance to get your property up to and over the threshold that comes into force 1 July 2025.
What happens if my tenant damages my property?
There is damage, for which effective and clear communication between the parties, bonds and if necessary the tenancy tribunal are designed for, and general wear and tear, which is anticipated and what a portion of your rental income will be used for to keep the property up to a reasonable standard. Rentall looks objectively at issues to determine the best and most cost effective solution for both parties.
Who determines the rent amount?
We assess your property thoroughly before determining a rental price. We compare your property with others of similar size and character in your area and advise what you could do with your property to increase the rent. Before advertising, we will ensure you agree with the rent proposal.
How do you get quality tenants?
A great property will attract great tenants. As part of our due diligence we also complete identification verification, income assurance, background and reference checks to ensure we’re off to a great start.
Can I cancel my agreement with you in the future?
Yes you can (with only one months notice after a minimum management period). Which is precisely why Rentall works so hard to be your best property manager ever.
